All Roads Lead to New York

There are a bunch of storylines for this Sunday's game against the Packers, but one of the few that hasn't been beaten to death yet is the fact that somehow everything seems to connect back to the Giants.
Flip Bondy's column yesterday (Packer legend Vince Lombardi's saga begins in Brooklyn and ends in N.J.) points out that Vince Lombardi, forever linked to the land of cheese and beer, not only is from Brooklyn, he used to work for the Giants and is buried in freakin' New Jersey.
When Bill Belichick wants to show his players how to do defense, he pops in a tape of Big Blue from the 1980's.
(Bonus: check out this pic, featuring Bill B in unfortunate shorts.)

Ryan Grant, the new running back for the Pack, arrived in Green Bay at the start of the season. From the Giants. (For a freakin' sixth round pick, but we'll forgive Jerry, since he kept Ahmad Bradshaw.)

Everything goes through New York.
